Noodleman, the Pasta Superhero

This story has everything; a failing family business, entrepreneurial ingenuity, an anti –hero, an endangered food, a community that reclaims an aspect of its culture, and more names for different shapes of pasta than you ever saw in one place!  It’s a delightful romp and for all who love pasta, it’s quite believable.

Activity: Noodleman invites a variety of word and letter games.

Spell out different pasta names with letter cards. Shuffle up the letter cards. Create a new pasta name, and a shape to go with it. You can also create a Pasta Bingo game, using the various pasta shapes on the bingo card that have to be matched when the name of the noodle is called.
